The Heart Behind the Practice
Serenity Yoga was born from a simple belief: that everyone deserves a space to slow down, breathe, and return to themselves.

Elena Reyes
Elena discovered yoga during a period of personal transition over twelve years ago. What began as a physical practice quickly became something deeper — a way of understanding the body, the breath, and the mind as one interconnected system.
She holds certifications in Hatha Yoga (500-hour RYT), Vinyasa Flow, and Yin Yoga, with additional training in pranayama and meditation. She has studied with teachers in India, Bali, and throughout the United States.
Elena\'s teaching style is gentle but precise. She emphasizes alignment, breath awareness, and the meditative quality of movement. Her classes are known for their calm pace, clear instruction, and the genuine warmth she brings to every session.
When she is not teaching, you can find her walking along the San Francisco waterfront, reading poetry, or tending to her collection of houseplants.
Our Philosophy
We believe yoga is not about perfecting a shape. It is about practicing presence.
Compassion First
Every body is different. We meet each practitioner where they are, without judgment or comparison. Modifications are always offered, and rest is always honored.
Simplicity Over Spectacle
You will not find flashy sequences or competitive energy here. Our classes are intentionally slow, focused, and rooted in the fundamentals that matter most.
Practice as a Way of Living
What happens on the mat is a rehearsal for what happens off it. We teach tools for calm, clarity, and resilience that extend far beyond the studio.

Our Studio
Located in a quiet corner of San Francisco, our studio is a haven of natural light, warm wood floors, and clean air. We keep classes intentionally small to ensure personal attention and a sense of community.
